Khvicha Kvaratskhelia began his football career at the age of 11. He joined Dinamo Tbilisi's junior club, based in his hometown, from 2012 to 2017.
Professional club career
Kvaratskhelia started his professional club career by joining Dinamo Tbilisi's senior team in 2017. He only played for one season before moving to Rustavi, a club in Georgia, in 2018. With Rustavi, Kvaratskhelia scored three goals in 18 matches.
In 2019, Kvaratskhelia was loaned to Lokomotiv Moscow for a season. He only played in seven matches and scored one goal. On July 6, 2019, Kvaratskhelia signed a five-year contract with Rubin Kazan, a Russian league club. In his debut match, he scored one goal and saved Rubin Kazan from defeat against Lokomotiv Moscow.
